The owners became a family just as construction completed. The parents wanted their second floor re-planned to provide a new nursery, a spacious guest room and a functional family bathroom.
On the ground floor they wanted a thoroughly adult pavilion to accommodate their sound system and artwork. The pavilion is a simple structure with a large roof-light to the sky, a floor light to the basement and an opening glass wall to the garden, to blur the boundary between inside and outside spaces.
