HOME FOR HOTELIERS
Architect: Milk Architecture & Design
Our impeccable hosts requested a family home that was luxurious to live in and was a special experience for guests. The Edwardian character of the existing house provided a warm traditional backdrop while cool contemporary conveniences were added to suit suburban life.
The whole house was treated to a makeover and no detail was left unattended. The first floor was opened up to a spacious master suite and the loft was converted to a charming guest room with minimal bathroom and garden views.
Downstairs a bespoke kitchen in cream piano finish lacquer was fitted with full height bog oak paneling to match an antique armoir. A glass walled pavilion was connected to the kitchen and surrounded with Japanese planting to create an all seasons garden dining room.
