light & luxe

Architect: Milk Architecture & Design

Our client needed a London crash pad and an impeccable home to rent out. This ground and lower ground 2 bed flat in a Victorian terrace had been badly converted and needed a complete makeover. It was a dark and gloomy space that needed rearranging, rationalising and opening up.

The lower ground floor was rearranged to create a sense of light and comfort. A courtyard was created to give light to the new guest bedroom and kitchen. The dining room was opened up onto the new decking area, perfect for alfresco dining.

Pale flooring, neutral greys and taupes were used to give it contemporary, bright and luxe feel. We complemented this with light timbers, simple furniture and luxurious, warm fabrics.
